Dr. Ren  MD,  graduated from Lanzhou University School of Medicine in 1986 in the People’s Republic of China. Fascinated and astounded by several medical miracles resulting from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), such as Acupuncture’s ability to allow patients to painlessly communicate with surgeons during heart and thyroid surgeries instead of using anesthetic drugs, Dr. Ren turned to Integrative Medicine(IM), combines Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine in China since 1989.

After  7-year Clinic practices in IM, Dr. Ren pursued his Ph.D. of TCM in the Shanghai University of TCM from 1996 – 1999, where he obtained systematic study and extensive training in TCM and Acupuncture. With his knowledge and experience in clinic practice for more than 20 years, Dr. Ren seeks to find the root imbalance that lies underneath symptoms. He then adjusts those imbalances with acupuncture, herbal medicine and other Traditional Chinese Medicine  approaches to enhance his clients’ self-regulating and self-healing systems in order to obtain the best results without side effects.

Dr.  Ren was a Research Assistant Professor of  Liver Center, Department of Internal Medicine, KUMC,  and a Senior Research Associate of Kidney Institute, KUMC  and Stowers Institute of Medical Research.

Dr. Fengzhen Ren  MD (China),  Licensed Acupuncturist in State of Kansas (LAc)
 
Dr. Fengzhen Ren MD, graduated from Lanzhou University School of Medicine, P R. China in 1995. She was an anesthesiologist who worked in Women & Children's Hospital of Gansu Province and Ruijin Hospital in Shanghai (the largest Hospital in China and Asian) for more than 10 years successively. She was well trained in clinical pediatrics, OB/GY, and pain management.

Acupuncture anesthesia was an innovated by Chinese Medical doctors and is widely used in a variety of surgeries for anesthesia and painless recovery post-surgery in China.  During more than 10 years anesthesia clinical practice, Dr. Fengzhen Ren is good at pain management with acupuncture and other medical approaches.

Dr. Fengzhen Ren graduated from Nurse School first (1984), then to Medical School. It took a long time endeavoring and practice from nurse to anesthetist and then to anesthesiologist, made her being very well trained in patients care and treatments.

In USA, Fengzhen Ren was a registered Nurse (RN) with License from the States of Missouri and California, She part time works in Rehabilitation Department of Research Medical Center.  She had worked in KUMC as postdoctoral Fellow and Senior Technician (III) in Stowers Institute for Medical Research.  

Yawen Gao,
Therapeutic Massage Specialist, Master of Taich & Tuina

Ms. Gao obtained her training in Taichi (太极), Taiyi (太乙)  and Shaolin Zen Medicine (少林禅医) from Shaoling Temple and  her tutor Master Yonglong Shi(释永龙), and Xunhua Zang( 张勋华),who is  successor of Taiyi.

​Practice Taich and Tuina for more than 20 years, Ms. Gao is able to use her internal force(energy) to treat patients to relaxe muscles,ligaments and joints, and enhace the process of injury recovery. She is good at deep tissue massage  or therapeutic massage for varieous pain, sports injuries.
